Within the last year, Texas A&M University has become a strategic partner with MacResource in providing more integrated marketing programs and services to the students, faculty and staff of Texas A&M. In that effort, it was agreed that there would be staged contributions to the university’s Division of Student Affairs in support of student programs. Buckey Turk, owner of MacResource — an Aggie 100 company and Texas A&M’s Apple Campus Store — along with Mark Romero, manager of the Apple Campus Store, presented Gen. Joe Weber, Texas A&M’s vice president of student affairs, with a check for $7,500 earlier this week. The funds from MacResource, a committed partner to the university, are a contribution to student services from the operations of the store.
The Apple Campus Store will move into the newly renovated MSC, which will open in April 2012.
