The Texas A&M Cancer Research Council recently announced the 2012 Cancer Research Colloquium, “An Overview of Cancer Research at Texas A&M.” The Colloquium will be held Friday, April 13 from 10 a.m.-5p.m., in the Health Professions Education Building, Texas A&M Health Science Center, Highway 47 Campus, in Bryan.
The 2012 Cancer Research Colloquium will feature information on the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) programs, core facilities, and commercialization. Break-out sessions on obesity and molecular mechanisms of nutrient action, genomic/epigenomic and environment interactions, drug discovery, and prevention cancer research summaries also are scheduled.
