What is Aggieland Saturday?
Aggieland Saturday is Texas A&M’s annual campus-wide open house designed for prospective students and their families to come and tour campus and facilities, attend informational sessions on various topics and interact with staff, faculty and current students.
What kind of events are scheduled? Are they all just tours of the campus for students or are there things scheduled for parents, too?
Sessions at Aggieland Saturday cover a wide variety of topics ranging from admissions and financial aid to specific majors and programs offered at Texas A&M. In addition to sessions, prospective students and their families can tour many parts of campus such as the residence halls, libraries and many of the buildings where the colleges and departments are housed. The entire family is encouraged to participate in all that is offered at Aggieland Saturday.
Who would find it most helpful?
Aggieland Saturday is designed for any prospective student interested in Texas A&M. The majority of the activities are geared towards high school juniors and seniors and transfer students. It also provides an opportunity for prospective students and their families to interact with the campus community, along with the Bryan-College Station community.
